ECHM and other village organizations are taking part in the national celebrations on 8th May 2025. Thursday 8th May

10.00am-3.00pm

Earls Colne Primary School – The Museum will be at the school with its gazebo, a display, music and Union jack flags. The children and staff are invited to “dress up” for the day in 1940’s style

12.30pm

Light Lunch and Lunchtime Recital with Kim Peak – Music from World War II at St Andrew’s Church

6.30pm

National Bellringing

7.00pm

Thanksgiving Service at St Andrew’s Church

7.25pm

Rededication and unveiling of new plaque to “The Marauder Men” USAAF tree in St. Andrews churchyard

7.30pm

Military Vehicle parade up High Street to Recreation Club. Please line the street, dress up and wave the flags!

9.30pm

Beacon Lighting Millenium Green and singing of national song “I vow to thee my country”
